Quarter of the way there...
I went to the doctor yesterday and met the exercise lady, the nut, the psych and everything looks great for surgery!!!
Before having it though, the surgeon (and the clinic's requirements) wants me to lose 42lbs pre-op. I was weighed yesterday and have lost 10 lbs since my first visit.... 10 days ago!!!
I am very very excited and I must say.... it is sooo much easier being told I have to lose 42lbs, than it is to hear that I have to lose 242lbs... Yes, I still have to lose that much, but I will have the HELP of my sleeve and the support of you all!!!
Thanks for celebrating with me!!!

That's a great start Angie! You will do it and be there in no time. I know that you are totally focused on you now and that is what it takes!!! Once I made my mind up there was no stopping me. I wish I had been your age when I could have this procedure! You will be on the journey of a lifetime that's for sure!!!
Hey Angie,
What a fabulous start to this amazing journey. You are really rockin' on the weight loss. I was daunted by losing the pre-op weight, but found out rather quickly when you have surgery to look forward to, well, it makes it so worth the effort. The weight comes off much easier than you can imagine, at least in my experience. You are going to get through this and look back on it as such a huge victory. Blessings to you.
