Just a reminder for anyone who would like to attend.  Tonight is a support group meeting.  Any and everyone is invited to attend even if you had surgery elsewhere.  The meeting is totally open to everyone.  Dr. Jim Keller the psychologist at WeightWise moderates our meetings and they are always good with lots of open discussion.  The meeting is from 6:00-7:30 but sometimes runs over a bit but you can leave when you need to.  Hope to see everyone there!!!  Please introduce yourself if you are new so we can get acquainted.

Also, tomorrow night is the monthly Meet & Greet at 6:30 at the Bricktown Brewery.  Miss Lyntoral made the arrangements for us this month and if you haven't let her know you can come please do so.  She has reserved us an area together and made the reservation for 20 so there is pleanty of room!!!

Deb,

I soooo wish I could be there tonight.  It has been a really crappy week (in general, not really WLS related) and the support from everyone would be a great boost, but I'm going to be attending the end of season party for my Little Leaguer instead.

It always makes me feel better, more motivated, and just generally lightens the load when I'm able to make the meeting.  Thanks to all of you who are regulars, and to Dr. Jim!

Hope it's a great meeting tonight, and I'm definitely going to try and make it next week.  Hope to see you then.

Thaks, John!  We'll miss you of course!  It makes my day to see everyone too and to see all the changes in the newbies especially.  I always enjoy the discussions and Dr. Jim's comments.  I wouldn't miss your little leager's party at all either.  My 3 all played baseball/softball and those were fun fun times.  They will be over far to soon because they grow up way too fast!  Have fun.  I plan to be there next week.  I am getting ready for my "BIG CRUISE".  I CANNOT wait!  Mr. Fleemore and I are going to go snorkeling and swim with the stingray.  Would I have done that 180 pounds ago??  I think not...I would have sunk like the Titanic I think.  See ya!!

By the way, I looked at some pics on your profile.  You have a beautiful family.  Your wife is a really beautiful lady.  You did good my friend!!!

Thanks!  I really lucked out with my wife - and with the fact that she still puts up with me this many years later.

I know you'll have a great time on your cruise!  I've been several times and it's always a blast... just be careful on the staircases on those ships late at night when you get ready to leave the lounge (bar)... sometimes the stairs might move and make you fall down.  Or maybe that was just me...

I'm sure that was just you!!!  Although, the floor moves around on me after just 1/2 a margaritta these days.  I'm such a cheap drunk...I don't tolerate it much anymore.  I don't try too often but I plan to on the cruise!!!  Fun times for sure.

See ya tonight, Fleemore.  And, can I jump in that suitcase with you?  I weigh a lot less now than I did a year ago -- I promise.

I sure would let you go with us.  Maybe sometime we should get up a cruise for some of us WLS people.  That'd be so much fun.  Of course, the chefs wouldn't have to prepare nearly as much food would they?  I'm not saying I'll be totally compliant but I know I CANNOT eat as much as I once did.  I may be doing some tasteing though!!!
