My Next Step

I don't post alot, but enjoy lurking and reading.  I am finally making my next step in my weight loss journey.  I am going in for my 360 abdominoplasty on tuesday of next week.  To put it bluntly I am very excited but at the same time very nervous.  So if there is anyone  that can help put my fears to rest I would love to hear from you.  I am very confident in Dr. Sawan, my surgeon and am having the surgery at Foundation in Edmond and have all the confidence with all the staff there.  So everbody wish me the best of LUCK!!! and keep me in your prayers.

P.S.  After next week I hope to be able to show off all of my six pack abs not just the top two!!!

I can't speak from experience, as I still have quite a bit to lose before even considering plastic surgery, but I just wanted you to know that I will be praying for you, for a complication-free surgery and recovery, with manageable discomfort. You're having your surgery at the best place, so I'm sure it's going to be awesome and will be worth it in the end.

Russell, I am already starting to dream of this myself!!!  Congratulations!!!  I was at a weight wise support group meeting a few weeks back and a good ol boy from the pan handle came in to our group.  We were all wondering what the heck this guy was doing in there because he obviously didn't look like he had a weight problem.  Well at the end he was introduced and he had lost all his weight and had the 360.  He showed us the scar and everything.  He was very happy with it an dI think he used the same surgeon you are.  He said his recovery was not as bad as he had thought it would be.  Please let us know how it goes!!!

Congratulations Russell!  You'll be in good hands at Foundation!  They are amazing!

Rita, I just about rescheduled surgery so that you could be my respitory therapist just so I could give you all the grief in the world.  But you know that I love ya!!  You are the bomb.  Thanks for the prayers and Next week I have a feeling that I will be thankful for pain pills.  BTW it was good to see you Saturday, it was the highlight of my weekend considering that I had to spend most of my time on the OWho campus at the family reunion.

Thanks Kim,  I'm sure everything is going to be fine but any surgery is scary.  Hope that your time for plastic will come shortly.  BTW your new avatar looks great,  like I said I don't post a lot but it is amazing to see everyones transformation.  I am so greatful for the new me.  Also, the person that debtfree was commenting about that had the 360 just happens to be my boss, so it does help having input from someone that I am around alot, but still nervous.  Have A Great Day!!!

I'm really happy you have someone close to you for support!  What an amazing story your boss has!  My brother had WLS 2 weeks after me.  He is down an amazing 145 lbs!  I'm so happy for him.  He still has a little ways to go but he's getting there.  He looks and feels so good!
I love the transformations on here!  They are so inspiring! 
Be sure and keep us all posted on your recovery and progress.  I'm looking forward to hearing all about it!

Russell, I'm so excited for you!  You know that you will be in good hands with both the surgeon and Foundation!!!  They are the best ever.  I met you at the Christmas Party and I thought you looked great even then but...we all have the "stuff" that our clothing covers don't we?  I can't wait until I can have a tummy tuck...hopefull next year sometime.  Good luck and we'll be praying for you!!
