Is scrapple the same thing as head cheese? 

Scrapple is one of those foods that you just eat and don't ask what's in it.....I know you have it pan fried for breakfast or just eat after frying. I guess you could broil it too, but it is not fried in anything.....I know it has cornmeal in it and then from there....I'm not asking! It is formed into a loaf and you slide it and pan fry it.
What is head cheese??? I have heard of it....but am not sure what it is.

haha thats more of a south jersey thing, so gross! haha but if you really want ;) i can bring some back! lol

It seems to be a big Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland thing....It is great, but nooooooo I was kidding about bringing it back. I will have my friend send me some if I really want some.....Yeah, I am still wondering about the Head Cheese....it seems like I remember my dad eating that.....still don't know what it is though.....Ok Deb.....what is it?

I looked up scrapple and I think head cheese is the same thing-it's a loaf formed from the uh, parts.  I'll see if it's in one of carnecerias I go to and I'll let you know.

I've kind of wanted to try it after watching the Food Network and seeing different things cooked.  If they have it, I'll get some and report on it-I have many willing mouths who will eat it if I don't...LOL.
