Non-milky protien supps?
I think I've figured out what my problem is. I hate milk, and it's rare that I drink it. Maybe every once in a while with spaghetti, but that was it. I think the milkiness in addition to the oversweetness of the proteins is making it more & more difficult to choke down. Soy does the same thing for me, it's the milky consistency.
Sooooo....are there any non-milky supps? I'm currently thinking of just getting some Isopure and mixing it with water and just doing that all day. Would Nectar be along the same lines, or is it milky too?
I have to do something different, because I nearly threw up trying to get down my EAS drink this morning. I think I'll head to the GNC on base and get some Isopure this afternoon. Just the idea of doing more milky today makes me ill.
Two more days until mushies!!!

Hi.
I thought of you when I read this post on the Main forum. Maybe a suggestion in it will help you in your dilemma. I'm no help, because I can't stomach any protein shakes, and since Dr. Walton says "real food protein," it's what I do, but I hope this helps you. :)

I mix my body fortress protein (Wal-Mart has it) with skim milk, but my DH mixes his with water.
Muscle milk protein is great and is lactose free, still kind of milky consistency.
Hope you find something you can tolerate, it is a quick way to boost your protein intake.
