Crying, Crying, Crying

Did anyone else have this problem with Reglan? I called my mom (who is a nurse) b/c I couldn't get my doctor's nurse to ask her why I keep crying. She said it could be the Reglan but because I haven't been in her care during this (she's in Virginia), she can't say for sure. So...I ask you..did anyone else have emotional "issues" because of the Reglan? Just curious how you handled them....

I have never had to take it but I am just so sorry you are having such strong emotions....I have no idea if Reglan does it or not but I had crying spells without it, off and on, so maybe it's just part of your journey....Hang in there....maybe you can get more info from the others.

I recommend that you 1) call your pharmacist and ask what he/she says in combination with your other meds (if any) and 2) call your surgeon if the crying continues.

I know that post-op my hormones went wacky.  Now, I am much older than you so maybe it doesn't apply but it could. Take care of yourself.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Honey, call your doctor.  This whole thing is one emotional sticky wicket, but it helps to know what is going on.

Don't take offense, but counseling really does help too-especially after when you may have huge regret feelings, missing food, etc.  For me, it was the first time I had to really face how emotionally dependent I had become on food.

Crying sucks because it makes your eyes swell and your nose run and no one does it like they do on TV, but it does feel kinda good.

I have had to take reglan before and it did cause me to be very emotional, depressed, tired, ect..... I had to stop taking it because of the severe change in my emotional state.
