I'm home...

I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. B. My preop nurse was Amy, and I absolutory loved her. She was so honest about what was going to hurt, and what to expect after surgery. I don’t remember much after they took me into OR, and then I woke up in my room. I missed the whole recovery areaJ. From what I was told everything went great. I had some problems coming out of the Anastasia. So I didn’t even really wake up till about 6 last night and then did my first round of walking the hallway. But I guess all that sleep caught up with me, because I was up walking the halls at 3 this morning. I think the nurses thought I was crazy. And since I was up so early they made me go on and weigh and take my blood. I wasn’t really happy to see that I had gained 8lbs. But I know it’s jus****er weight and it will come off.   I’m still having some trouble getting in all of water. It feels like it’s just stuck. Other than that I’m good, a little pain, but nothing that’s not tolerable, mainly it’s just my incisions that are sore.  But I just want to that everyone from OH fro answering my questions, and giving me your support.

Congratulations! Glad you're home and doing well. Make sure you're taking small sips of water/liquids. You are still swollen, so that's probably the problem. It will get easier. Keep walking (inside the house), too. Get some rest. Welcome to the Losers' Bench! :)

YEAH I HAD TROUBLE WITH THE FLUID RIGHT OFF BUT IT DOES GET BETTER. JUST KEEP UP THE WALKING AND SIP THA****ER. AT FIRST I COULDN'T DRINK THE WATER IF IT WAS COLD I HAD TO DRINK IT AT ROOM TEMP BUT IT GOT BETTER AND NOW I HAVE TO HAVE IT COLD!! GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED!
