Two steps closer

Hi My lovely Obesity help friends

I just wanted to report that as of tonight I will be 2 steps closer to being banded, (I hope). I go in at 8 am for my EGD and go in tonight for my 2nd sleep study and then I will be DONE with all the testing the doc wants. So, now it will be just the waiting game for the insurance. Please keep me in your prayers about the insurance approval. I am just terrified I will have done all of this and the expense of it all and not be approved.

Two steps forward is a good thing! Try not to be afraid of what isn't there right now. I also had so many fears that after all I had been through that it wouldn't happen for me....but it did. I was willing to wait as long as it took. I'll be praying for you! It will happen!! Hang in there!

Congrats! It won't be long now!  I wouldn't worry about insurance approval.  I'm sure you will be fine!

Thank you so much, ladies! I got home around 11 from the EGD. Versed is a wonder drug. LOL I don't even remember getting dressed to leave and barely remember Dr. G coming by me and speaking to me before I left.

I was shocked though, he told my husband that I have some ulcers. I haven't even been having any pain. I have two prescriptions and an appointment to see Dr. G next Friday. So, he will tell me all about it next week.

I was scared for nothing though. EGD is a piece of cake!

Paulette - congrats on knocking out all of those pesky requirements!  They make us jump through a lot of hoops but it's, oh so worth it!!  So hang in there and I'm sure you'll get approved!  Much good luck to you!
