Over half way

Hi OH fam! Sorry I haven't been around much lately...my life has been a crazy rollercoaster here for the last few weeks. Hopefully the ride won't end anytime soon! it's been great!! I am exactly 2 months and 6 days out from my surgery and I'm already down 55 lbs from my starting point. and wearing a size 12!!! I am more than half way to my personal goal of 130lbs!!!! I actually enjoy looking at and trying on clothes...I can't wait to see what is in store! I have more energy than i've ever had in my life, and my back, knees and ankles surely have noticed the weight loss!! I LOVE MY RNY!!! I still don't really know how to react properly when someone tells me how great I look. I usually just smile and say "thanks" but for the "gushers" (you know the ones that just keep going on and on about how much younger, and thinner and better looking you are) they get on my nerves a bit. I want to say..."geez I didn't know that I was so hideous before" but I of coarse don't say that, because I was hideous...i just don't want to be reminded ya know? Anyway I still get on daily and lurk, but I haven't had a lot of time to post. i'll do better from now on  you guys rock!

You are doing so well!  I'm happy for you!
When those people go on and on just gush with them.  You are doing great and enjoy the gushyness!  LOL!  Those little moments aren't to make you feel bad.  I'm sure those people are just so happy for you and think you look amazing! 
BTW  How about a new avi for that beautiful new size 12~~!

Good idea Kim...it seems I'm still camera shy...but I might get some new outfits this weekend and I'll snap a few pics...and your probably right about the gushers, I shouldn't be so negative.

Congrats on hitting that halfway point. I usually say thank you and change the subject with gushers! Repeatedly if needed or If they cant get the message I make an excuse to leave before I blow my stack at them.

yes, me too. I smile a bit and say thanks and then walk away. I really try not to be rude, but man....I just have to step. LOL

Congrats on getting to your half way!!! U are will be at goal at no time at all. I am like you at times.....hard to take the compliments, but that feeling is becoming a distant memory quick. We are doing awesome and the comments are a result of our success. Enjoy it, and run when u see the gushers coming...lol

Congrats on hitting your halfway point!  Enjoy the shopping :)  Don't mind the compliments~ It's hard to get used to at first, but after a while you do.  I was very uncomfortable with all the compliments at first, as well.  Have fun with those size 12's!  *hugs*
