OT -- easy come, easy go, but not for long
OK, getting back into the oil and gas, like I posted before, was a prayer come true, even though it was for 1/2 pay, but still good money, and still gave thanks like crazy. Worked like crazy also to make all of us at LeFlore Title look good, even though my nephew-in-law and I were the only ones working. I would work all day in the abstractor's office, then type most of the night till 11 or 12 p.m. Tuesday we went back and early afternoon, my boss called and said the company we are working for shut the project down. I was bummed at first, but left giving thanks to God anyway. All the way home (4 hours), on Wednesday, I prayed and thanked God, and asked for work right away, but mostly, just thanking Him for being who He is for 4 hours. Went to my bosses office to type up my stuff since my computer crashed, and about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, the guy from the company that we are doing the work for called. HIS boss wants to make sure LeFlore Title stays busy and has given us the title work in the county we were working in before being layed off in December. This is like 85 new sections of land. Plus the county records are all on line, so I can work from home again, plus he is going to get us more money per day. Is God awesome? I am so amazed at how fast He answered my prayer. Three of us are coming in Sunday night and going to be at Continental's office (company we are working for), which is in Edmond, on Monday morning to get trained on a program they want us to use. I am so thrilled I get to stay at home. Am taking Dessie to an eye doctor in Tulsa tomorrow because she has developed retinopothy (spelling?), which is bleeding behind her eye due to diabetes. She has a black spot in her vision. They will probably give her shots in her eye. UGH!!! That is the advantage of moving to Oklahoma though. Because of that, the Cherokee's are sending her there to this specialist and paying for it. Michael
Hi, Michael.
I so enjoyed reading your update. What you experienced was what is talked about in the Bible, where it says, "God inhabits the praises of His people." When you praise and thank God, it gets Him on the scene! It pleased the Father, and since He's a good God and a good Father, He enjoys giving good gifts to His children. All we have to do is line ourselves up with the Word so that He can give to us. :)
I'm praying for your wife, that God will do a creative miracle in her eye. Claim verses about healing, and go for it! :)
Blessings,
Mary
