Checking In

Hi Everyone , Just checking in and seeing how everyone is doing , as always i see you guys are doing great , so proud of all of you !!  I am still doing good , have lost 75 lbs , am about 15 - 20 lbs from where i want to be , so i am very happy !!   There has been just a little glitch , a tiny bump in the road , I have split a tendon in my ankle , proabably from running and over exercising ,,, haha go figure !!  I am in a big boot I have3 named "bella" and will likely have her for at least 2 months , we are hoping to avoid surgery.  The reason I am sharing this , . .  I could have given up , I could be sitting on the couch eating , because it is kind of depressing lol BUT after about one day of feeling sorry for myself , I decided to deal with it , find a way to keep exercising safely and continue my weight loss , so I went to Pacer and they have been extremely helpful in coming up with routines that will "kick my butt" like i am used to but not cause further injury , all docs are in agreement that i can exercise , so thats where i am with that !!  I hope you will all turn your negatives into postives if you can and not give up on your dreams of a healthier life !!!  I have posted some new pics if anyone is interested .............Have a great day ,

Good job Luanne!  Sounds like you and Bella have bonded!!!  You have just kept on keeping on.  No need to cry in your beer for sure!!!  That's one great change you have made isn't it?  I know for me it was always one set back and I was totally off the wagon.  Great pictures too.  Thanks for sharing.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Wow, that is a great attitude!  And...a good reminder to me to not over do and cause my knee any problems.

You are on the right track kiddo-Love that boot.  I will never (I hope) complain about the boot again, it is your friend!  Failing to love the bootie will send you into something far more sinister-a cast that cannot be removed for a nice scratch and a little lotion.

Wow, inspirational post.  I need to get my butt back to the gym ASAP.  I don't have any excuses.  You inspired me because if you can do it in a boot then surely I can do it with a sore hip (chronic issue- not acute.)
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
