Denise, You are a beautiful lady inside and out!. After knowing you a bit, I am sure some of those things you listed are things you have never been able to do at all...It is a miracle to know you can do anything now!
It has been an honor to watch the changes that you have made. You are one of those wonderful people on here that I think of as one who inspires me and who actually helped me to make my decision to go with the sleeve. You made a difference in my life. I am so glad that you still hang out on this board to inspire others too. Thank you for all you have meant to me on here and Congratulations for making one year seem so easy! You are a doll. I'd start singing the "Did you ever know your my hero" song right now...but I doubt it would be the same without music....still it is true!!
Thanks girl!

I said it earlier, but congratulations! I take it as a good sign when you "forget" your anniversary date -- a sign that you have made your new life style a normal part of your life.

Congrats my friend!!  Happy surgiversary to you!  Hasn't the last year just been amazing?  It's fun actually "living" life and not just sitting back and watching it go by.  I see you and listen to you talk about all your "new adventures" and it makes me so happy when I know where you were a year ago.  Go get em tiger!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I love surgiversary posts-because it's THOSE  milestones that really prove what is possible, and that some things just take time.

I love YOUR surgiversary post first of all because it's YOU sharing your happiness, but I feel especially connected to those I have known and cared about for the length of their journey.  What a neat journey it is-kind of like that Benjamin Brat movie-you start out as a chubby little cute thing-and end up as one hot Momma.  It really is like a mini rebirth only you don't have to spend years as a teenager.

What a double blessing, you get to have the joy and spread such hope at the same time!
