Day 2 of 10 day diet
I'm on my 2nd day of my 10 day diet and oh man this is hard. I'm having a hard time because others around me continue to eat. I don't think about eating....i just grab something that is ok for me right now. But doing this over Memorial Day weekend is harder than what I thought it would be. Any tips or encouragement would be amazing! :)

Hi, January.
While it would be nice if everyone around us would eat the way we are eating (or need to eat), that seldom happens. Just know that what you are doing is for you, and it will help you be ready for surgery. Also, it's so much easier after surgery, in that you won't feel hungry. Keep your goal in mind. You'll get through this.
Blessings,
Mary

Jan,
I have read your post several times. And what I am seeing is mourning for food. We all have gone through it. But some it takes the first few days of that diet to make us realize what we are giving up. Instead of thinking about the food for tomorrow, concentrate what tomorrow is about. paying tribute to thse who have died for our country..and for those who have gone on before us.
hang in there by day 7 its gonna be a breeze

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
I can only say, I know it's hard. Keep your eye focused on that prize (your WLS) and it will make it go faster. I'm here if you need to vent, talk, anything.
