My one and only nephew graduated from high school tonight and I went shopping for a new outfit. I was wearing at least a size 34-36 and 5x tops before wls. I went to the store and tried on a size 30 because that is what size of jeans I was just able to get into. the 30's where to big so I went to a size 28 and they where lose but I love my clothes at least a size to big because I like to hide my body under baggy clothes. I grabed a 4x shirt and it was a fitted shirt so I wanted it bigger ( it really is way to big but it was commfy). I could wear a 26 if I wanted to but they are just a little tighter than I like. I bought size 3 x shirts and they fit great. I was so happy. Than I had to buy new sandles because I am a size smaller in shoes no too.

It Is weid that I have lost almost 60lbs but I have lost it in my upper body, arms and legs not really where I am the biggest my lower bellyand my rearend. I am begining to think I will never lose in those places and I will be stuck with them this size forever.

I did actually let my family take pics of me tonight it is the first time in almost 6 years that I have allowed my pic to be taken.

You sound like me, my top is loosing more than my bottom.  You've lost almost 4 sizes (if not more) that's wonderful Keep up the great job and post some pictures.

I weighed 354 pounds before my surgery.  I wore a size 30-32 clothes.  As you lose the weight your confidence shoots through the roof and wearing a size that is a little snug but actually fits s weird at first but you look in the mirror and you actually see how good you look.   Now I am down to size 10 and I still have body issues about buying clothes.  I immediately go the the larger size by habit I guess.  Then I try them on and I just have to laugh because that size is so big on me.  The journey has been awesome.  Good luck to you on your journey and each day that passes is a new adventure.  I wouldn't trade it for the world.
