Bread we can have!!
This is very very whole wheat stuff. The net carbs is 1g because the rest is fiber. So protein really is greater than carbs. Again, I'm going to ask the Nut. This stuff may be legal. I know it is for other docs such as Keith. He recommends it to his patients. It's entirely possible that the folks at WW have never heard of it. Where's the harm in asking?
No harm no foul..lol i hope i got that saying right.
If OWLO recommends this I have never heard about it. Believe me, as a moderator of one his support groups that info would be passed on....Unless the memo got lost in cyber space. i am going to print this post and take it (thursday) when I go to OWLO and see what their nuts say.
That way we have both bases covered.
Are you going to WW meeting?

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
Winnie as I promised I showed the post to one of the nutritionist at OWLO..Kristy. She said the calories was to high and that it was not a god bread. That you can buy a better nutritional bread at you local grocery store. She said you could email her at www.owlo.com ..sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Official word from the WW people. Everyone is of the same opinion.
Hello Jay,
To answer your question….bread is bread! Even though it has 12 grams of protein, it still has carbohydrates and most importantly it will waste the precious little space. It still has the doughy consistency of bread and does not work with the new anatomy of your or anyone else’s pouch. The protein in this bread is not a complete protein, which complete protein comes from animal protein/cheese/eggs/fish, etc., etc. So I would not recommend eating this type of bread or any other protein fortified type starchy carbs.
Have a great day!
Jess
