A hair loss song....

To the tune of London Bridge....

All my hair is falling down, falling down, falling down...
All my hair is falling down....     My... hair... is falling...

When does it grow back again? Back again? Back again?
When does it grow back again?...Just....need....an estimate.

I dont' know why but that song came to mind this morning when I was brushing my hair...
Last week I was ok on the hair issue...this week, I think I have surpassed GreyCe(my dog) on the shedding. It does come back....right?? I know this is asked a million times but I had this hope that maybe...just maybe I wouldn't lose mine.....WRONG!\

I don't many who miss out on the hair loss experience...except our friend Ruth!  Mine started falling out at about month 4 and continued through month 8 and then started coming back in.  The bad thing was that the hair that was left that didn't fall out was dry, brittle and fuzzy so it was not a pretty site for me.  I did take biotin and I think it does help with the new growth.  I still take the biotin.  It was at least a year or 14 months before I could say my hair was back to "normal" for me.  I really have never seen anyone at support group meetings who was bald from this though!!  LOL  For me the trade off was worth it all.  I always prided myself on my hair and makeup trying to over compensate for the "fat" on my body!!!  LOL  It's just a temportary thing....this too shall pass!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I too have hit the 4 month hair falling out time! Bald is sexy right?  LOL...Oh well it will come back, or maybe I can find some really awesome wigs to wear around until it does! From what I have heard, I will notice it, my hair person will notice it, but probably not may others. Hopefully that will be the case!

Hey I got blessed with all sorts of other complications...I didn't NEED the hair thing too....  trust me!!

Hang in there - your hair is what your body considers "unnecessary" when it comes to saving nutrients for it.  It will grow back, it may even be different!

I may not have lost much but it certainly didn't want to grow!!  I am finally being brave and letting it grow out again after three years...It is definitely a lesson in patience!  And most of you who know me...well you know me!!!

Hopefully I will get to Support Group tonight... we'll see how much energy I muster up!!

Love the song!  LOL!

My hair has been falling out BAD for about 6 weeks.  I wonder everyday how will I have any left!  I've cried and cried!  But hopefully it will grow back.  I'm going to get my hair done Monday.  I'll probably have it cut kind of short!  I'm gonna cry again because Ive been trying to get it to grow out!  But then I have tears of joy when that scale goes down...So just call me a crybaby!  LOL!  I knew the hair would go when I had surgery and like Fleemore says,  She hasn't seen any bald women at the meetings! LOL!
I like the new Avi!!!  You are looking really good!
Hugs

WOWO Look we have a Sherry instead of an Okierose. How great your new picture looks and  yes the hair loss will slow down and I think mine is getting some of its softness back as well. Of course I have hot oiled and conditioned it alot since it started going.

Mama, I too have conditioned the heck out of my hair since surgery.  I use a thick cream conditioner and it stays on my hair every morning until after I finish my make-up and then rinse it off.  That's the only way I've been able to have it look half way presentable.  Otherwise, it looked like hay and I'm not exaggerating!!!  LOL  I'll take the trade off any day though!!!

Thank you Mama for noticing the pic...I hate pics of myself, so this was a big step to put a pic back on, but everyone on here is brave and put there's on so I decided I could too!  You each inspired me to do it!! I put a couple on my profile too. I love my rose picture as it was from my rose bush but it looks nothing like me! ha!

Ok girls, I will tell you about this one product. Not to help with hair growth, but It is called FrizzEase and it is a hair serum. My hair has always been oily to the point of having to wa**** every day no matter what....But....I got this because my mom had horribly dry hair with no shine to it at all....We tried this on it .....You put a few drops on your hand and rub your hands together then lightly go over your ends with it. Mom got so many compliments on her shiny hair at her age! It was like 10 or 12 bucks for what seemed like a small bottle but it really does last awhile and does make it shine. I haven't needed it yet on my constantly thinning hair, but for those who need a shine to their hair, it would be great. It says on this bottle....for smooth and for defrizzing.....My daughter also gave me something called Biosilk and it is a serum too, that softens and shines the hair.....it seems to be just like the other stuff and since my hair is just dropping out but is still shiny, I haven't started using it yet. It sure worked on her hair ....

AND Nexium products will be on sale real soon at Beauty Brands. The lady told me that it will be the large bottles and they will be buy one and get one free. I guess you could call there to find out when it will be but she had said a few months ago that it would be June or July.
