OT-- holidays in ok!

so question for ya'll, my bf says that most holidays like fourth of july, easter, columbus day, etc etc that most places are closed NOT like on the east coast where we are now where everything stays open like 24.7  no matter what.

im going to be working in penn square mall. do you think its going to be open fourth of july?

Most of the time Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter are the ony Holidays that I can think of that most places close. 

i dont know what hes talking about then ..lol he hasnt lived in ok in like 10 years. :)

I think it all depends on your company. I know that I will be off on the fourth of July, but I work in an office sitting...so...there ya have it.

I had to lol whe I read this post....I am from the big city of Charlote, NC where nothing ever closes except on christmas eve at 6pm...so what would make your bf think stuff here closes on all holidays? just cause we are midwest doesnt mean we are true southern baptist that only sip lemonade...lmfao...
i can take you to certain counties in north carolina that still do the blue laws....and do not sell beer or wine after midnight saturday...well except for Aunt Maes but only men want to go there..if ya know what I mean...and she is in Society Hill, SC
