My first BIG WOW

I know everyone posts this, because I have read every single one of everybody's WOW moments, just waiting to reach one.  Well, today I did!!  I went to my all time favorite clothing store, CATO, today after work.  It has been a favorite of mine for a long time because I could always find cute clothes in my sizes (26/28 and sometimes 30/32).  Went in today, walked over to the plus sizes as usual and started looking at the clothes.  It occurred to me that I couldn't find any 18's and I knew I needed 18's now.  Did I DARE go the "THE OTHER SIDE" of the store?  For those of you not familiar with CATO, one half of the store is plus sizes and the other half is juniors/misses.  I felt very out of place and I was wondering if people were staring at me and wondering what I was doing on THAT side.  Much to my chagrin, nobody was staring, nobody flinched, the lady didn't even smirk when I walked up with a shirt and a couple of pairs of pants from "THE OTHER SIDE" of the store!!  Guess what happened??  THEY FIT!!!  Has anyone cried in the dressing room besides me?  I sure did!!  I can now buy clothes from the regular stores again!!  Do you know how many years it has been??  I think it has been over 20 years!!

Anyway, just had to share, and I hope somebody like me reads this and gets some inspiration, and I want to tell you, it WILL happen to you, too!!  I didn't think it would ever happen to me, but it has now, and it feels sooooooo good!!

I have definitely been there and felt the same way ,,,there will be more tears as you go along , so celebrate every one of those moments and be proud of every accomplishment not matter how small ,,,,,most of us dont worry about being a certain size but it is nice to shop on the "other side" especially when it means you are getting healthy!!!!  Congrats!!!!!
