Did anyone tell you Rome was not built in a day? Well hello Sister your weight did not come on overnight and its not going be gone that easy either.
Your body is now holding on to the fat so you do need to check out how you are eatting and do your food journals.
I lost in stages and I stalled more than once. LOL right now I am in one huge stall that is my own fault.
So lets just put it down in type.
There are going to be weeks where your weight will be the same..then next the scales will show a huge amount the difference is this..if you are exercising....muscle weighs more than fat so the scales are going to show that. MEASURE YOURSELF weekly instead of just the scales...the scales are just numbers that are evil to change.
AND relax you will be to your goal by Christmas...patience, faith and doing the program is the key
HUGS
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

Hang in there!! I had like 2 weeks were I didn't lose ANY weight. It is scary but just keep doing what the WL team has told you to do!! That is what I did and my weight loss has started up again! Keep working hard!!

Giving you a big shake (with love of course!)  Stop and think for a minute- you had surgery only 2 months ago.  You are down what 70 pounds??  When have you EVER in your life lost so much weight so quickly??  You body deserves a breather now and again to adjust to the new you.  Take your measurements- this is often the time you lose the most inches.  Take a deep breath and keep eating as you are supposed to.  Not eating is as bad as eating too much.  Follow the rules and you will lose again.  Hugs!

By the way- every one of u****s this stage at more than one point in the journey.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Thanks. I have lost 39.5 pounds in the 9 weeks after surgery. I lost the rest before. I guess I expected to lose much more by now and had an unrealistic expectation. How can I speed up or give my metabolism a kick in the "rear?"

Shantell has a good point, you could be still losing fat but gaining in muscle tone.  Check your measurements, I bet you're still losing.  Back in my cute & skinny days I went to Air Force Basic Training wearing a size 12, weighing 150 lbs.  I didn't gain or lose a single pound the whole time I was there, I just stayed a solid 150 and was actually getting in trouble for not losing weight.  I finally asked the training instructors to take my meausrements, since my pants that I had originally been issued were starting to fall off.  Yup, I had lost several inches.

Point is, strong muscle is heavier by volume than fat.  Strong muscle also burns more calories, so keep doing what you're doing!!  Work on becoming fit, and the weight loss is going to come with it.  (And remind me when I'm freaking out about the same thing in a few months. )

I have learned through this process , that my weight fluctuates daily and weekly for whatever reason ,,, water weight gain etc...... please dont get caught up on the numbers ,,,,you much eat and you must get your water in , and if you are doing these things and exercising you will be successful .  You have not done anything wrong you are doing just fine , I promise , but as others have said you have to eat , you want to be healthy and you want to learn to make good choices !! Take care and dont worry .......take it from a scale addict :)
