GOAL?
MY GOAL WEIGHT AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY WAS 130LBS. AT MY LAST VISIT WITH DR B HE TOLD ME MY IDEAL WEIGHT WOULD ACTUALLY BE 140LBS. NOW THAT ONLY LEAVES ME WITH 26LBS MORE TO LOSE WHICH I LIKE THE IDEA OF BUT I REALLY WANT TO GET DOWN TO 130LBS. BUT WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO 130LBS? I DON'T KNOW, PEOPLE KEEP TELLING ME I DON'T NEED TO LOSE ANY MORE BUT I DON'T LIKE THE NUMBERS ON THE SCALES RIGHT NOW. I AM AT 166LBS AND IN A SIZE 10 OR 12 DEPENDING ON THE CLOTHES. I AM HAPPY FOR NOW BUT ITS THOSE DARN NUMBERS THAT IS MAKING ME MAD!! SORRY JUST HAD TO VENT A LITTLE!
Giving you a good hard shake.... Did you EVER dream you would actually walk into a store and buy size 10 pants???? Did you EVER dream you could successfully do a boot camp training and live to post about it?? Don't fall prey to the numbers game. That is a slippery slope to an eating disorder. Who but you will ever know what the scale shows each day? Be happy wherever your body decides to stop. You are gorgeous, healthy, active, and deserve to enjoy all the benefits of your wonderful weight loss. Quit kicking yourself! Hugs!
Go back to when you were overweight. The numbers did they bother you then?
Were you ablle to go into a store and find clothes that were not tents or huge floweredy crap?
Then why are you stuck on being 130???? 130 pounds could mean the difference between you looking healthy and not. My big advice is this..STRIP DOWN LOOK IN A MIRROR and simply ask yourself if 130 will make me happy now will it make me happy then....THE answer is NO.
Also note if you have skin removal you will lose some pounds..so think of 140 as the place to be till you get the skin removed.
When I had my skin removed I was no where near goal and still not there..I lost 32 pounds of skin, and fat. So think about that...the removal of the flab does take away some pounds..so would you rather be 140 and have it removed or 130 and then be way under goal

My tummy tuck was done by Dr. Cynthia Nydick who is an associate with Oklahoma Weight Loss Options; www.owlo.com. Most surgeons will not do a tummy tuck unless you are 18 months post op and have reached goal. The reason OWLO agreed to it was because my apron hung down to almost my knees. I was having issues with healing from rashes and gaulding not to mention I had MRSA. Plus I had to have a hernia repair done. SO while they had me open they did the tt.
The healing took longer than it should because I got an infection along the left side anchor incision where I had to have four holes packed daily for 8 weeks.
I also hada consultation with a Dr. Love from OKC for a lower body lift and arms..LOL he wont touch me till the end of the year. Dr. Keith recommended him.
