So, up a pound, but again, not doing anything special either way.
I am going to officially move my range from 155-150 down 5 pounds to 150-145. My poor head can't cope with a 10 pound range, and I am not going to deliberately try to gain another two pounds.
BMI charts agree, and I'm not doing anything unhealthy to stay this weight, so I'm calling it good (well, I'm calling it great actually). Despite all my attempts to the contrary, a part of me still believes the lower the number, the better-but, by maintaining a criteria of healthy behaviors, I think I can balance my head's need to be low numbered and my body's need to be healthy.
Okay I havn't been weighing weekly because I am still pre-op, but on March 17th at my intial consultation I weighed 229 and was told I needed to lose 11 lbs before surgery. I had all my pre surgery required appts yesterday and weighed 212. That's 17 lbs this month, so that gave me a pre-op appt of May 7th along as my stress test comes back okay. So everyone keep your fingers crossed and pray that all is well since I have a very strong family history of cardiac disease. Tentative surgery date is May 18th (nothing like being on liquids for a holiday weekend).
LAST WEEK: 146.7
THIS WEEK: 147.7
CHANGE: 1 lb.
UGH I HAVE BEEN HAVING TOO MANY STINKING CARBS. I HAVE STARTED WALKING EVERYDAY 2.5 MILES, SO I HOPE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAIN OR I WILL STOP THAT VERY QUICKLY... I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THOSE NUMBERS GOING UP. PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ME THAT I CAN GET BACK ON TRACK WITH MY PROTEIN......
