Chili Cook-off

I had an awesome weekend!!  I entered my first Chili Cook-off in Beaver, Ok.  I was helping my wife's team and had an entry for the Slapout Fire Dept.  We recieved 3rd place and 4th place on our competition Chili,  Peoples Choice Award,  The Firehouse Award, and the Showmanship Award. Not to bad for the first time to compete in something like this, some take this very seriously.  Needless to say, I will definately be competing in more events in the future.  The bonus part is that chili is is high in protien and on my diet.

Hey Glitter Gal the recipe is very simple.  Meat and a little of this and a little of that.  I guess I would go into more detail if need to, I don't mind sharing recipes. 

I am not much of a cook so I'm the kind that probably needs recipes.  But I guess that's why they make Williams chili seasoning!  For peeps like me!  But I am surprised you would share a competition recipe!  You weren't planning on having me rubbed out afterwards?  Ha!
