Ok, I can finally try to eat liquids and get my water in ( I know not any where close to what I should) just taking one day at a time and making sure I progress each day.  So yesterday I started with the hiccups and man they are so loud.. any clue if I'm doing something wrong or just part of life now

I get the hiccups but I dont think its because of the surgery....just somethings are harder to get rid of now. And as for the protein etc...you are just 5 days post op it will take you awhile to get it all in..just relax
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

I am 6 weeks out and just now starting to get in all my fluids and enough protein. It takes a while. As for the hiccups, I get them if I eat or drink too fast. Slow down and really take your time and it should help.

Some people hiccup and it's their "almost too full" signal. That could be the case for you.
Blessings,
