Girl, that is nasty news, but not the end of the world.  I had a complete hystie (ovaries and all) at age 26, and it hurt a lot less than the pain I had before, so, chances are, you WILL beat this in your sleep.

Don't worry about what happened before, focus on what you need to do now to get over this.

Even a small cyst can be quiet painful if it twists, and I had a couple the size of grapefruits-come and go over time.  Finally, I just said "enough of this".  To be frank, with the pain I was in, there was no way kids were going to happen again anyway, and I just wanted the whole kit and kaboodle gone.  Lot's of good reading on the "vaginal politics" of it all, how male surgeons are making female eunochs, but I never regretted it for a moment.  Pop one little pill a day (not premarin, they abuse horses for that) and libido and sexual function have remained most satisfactory.

My advice is to deal with the question "do I want more kids/and or could I even have more kids?" and then go from there.  (I wouldn't have been able to conceive again anyway and since hubby at the time had had a vasectomy, that's probably for the best...LOL).

Having more kids was never the issue I had my tubes tied after my son. Then add the NovaSure procedure they did when I wanted the hystie and there is zero chance of me ever having another kid. I knew two was all I wanted to start with was my number even as a kid playing mommy. But when I went in in 2006 because I was never stopping my monthly and Dr Frye flat told me I was too Fat to have surgery. So he put me on the Depo shot to stop the bleeding and it worked for 3 months I then bleed for almost 9 months and gained 75 pounds when I flat out had a hissy and got my PCP to refer me somewhere else, Dr. Dieter prefers to keep a hystie as a last resort so did the NovaSure first, Is a minor procedure wher ethey do a DNC then use an electrica shock to carterize the lining of the uterus so no more monthly. He felt leaving the ovaries was a better choice at my age and it has worked but with my pain this week I am sure wishing I had pushed. I will know more tomorrow on exactly what is going to happen like I said it has not been official but we all know that the tech see enough of the Ultrasounds to know when something is there or not even if they dont know for sure what. I just want the pain to go away.

I had a few bad moments but have tried to really put a positive I am gonna whip thios thing in my sleep attitude on. Heck it can't hurt any worse than what I do right now.

Ah heck, then it's a no brainer, out with the old junk!  It's like gall bladder surgery, you'll feel oooooooh so much better.  Just get your hormones straight-that can take a little doing, and actually, weight loss can mess that up too-because while you are actively losing, the fat releases a lot of estrogen-which might explain the resurgence of your problem.  Not that you care-you just want it fixed NOW......and I don't blame you.
