Been Lurking but I'm back

I've been lurking and not really saying much since my surgery on Tuesday. Really didn't care to spend much time on the computer.   I think I'm finally coming back to the living world.  So many people had said I would ask why I had done this to myself and sure enough I had my moment.  I guess the pharmacist had told me husband that  the pain medication was very very strong and to go easy.  So therefore I was only taking 1/2 dosage of what the doc had prescribed.  After calling the docs office on Thursday and she said, GET AHEAD OF THE PAIN AND STAR AHEAD OF IT.  I have done that and finally started coming back up the hill.  I had hit the valley and couldn't go much lower, but yes I'm on my way up and on to a bright and better world ahead of me.  Thanks so much for all the good wishes and prayers.

I am so glad you are getting your pain under control. That makes all the difference in the world.  Congrats on taking steps to reclaim your life!!!!

I am so glad you are doing ok now and that you have the pain under control. I honestly feel that I would rather be drugged up for a few days to get past the hard part of any surgery. I hope the rest of your journey is a smooth one...Hang in there!

Welcome to the losers bench, you are in great company with this crowd!  You will soon be done with the pain meds and feeling like taking on the world.  Glad you are already feeling better.

I can just see you taking half a dose and still be in pain. I am surprised you were not told in the hospital that to stay on schedule with pain meds...But maybe they had a busy day and forgot ya.
