Welcome!  I have to agree this is the best online support group ever.  No need or question goes unanswered by this group.  I have the band also, I hit the 50 lbs lost this weekend and am excited to see what the future holds, I am shooting for 100 lbs in a year.  I am a fulltime nurse, teachers wife, mom of two awesome teenagers & dog lover (I also have 3, Walker, veezla mix; Eddie, jack russell; Maggie, dachshund).  I feel great and I know each one of us is a winner at being losers!

Thanks so much everyone for such a warm welcome! I am really glad to have found/met you all. Today is going well for me. Everyday post op seems a little bit easier. I went with my family to the medival fair in Norman and so I definitely got some movement in today.

Welcome to the Okie forum! Like you i went to the fair and walked all over the place! I was thinking about how I would never have been able to do that before I had my surgery...Had a blas****ching my 20 year old niece and my skinny roommate trying to keep up with me...By the time we left they were wore out and I was ready to go again..
