Is my stomach shrinking?
Ok, so on average I drink two protein shakes a day and eat a small meal, just to try to get in that groove before I'm forced to. I didn't do that today, I just ate normally.
I made a spinach, tomato, & onion scramble with avocado for brunch around 11:30, and had a slice of cantaloupe and a few big strawberries with it. All was good.
Around 3 I had about a cup of air popped popcorn with some butter spray & parmesan cheese. I was drinking hot tea with it, and my stomach started hurting really badly, like I had been punched in the gut. It hurt so badly that I had tears in my eyes. That lasted probably about three hours.
Around 6:30 I finally got around to making dinner, chili & cornbread. I had about a cup of chili with way too much crema and cheese (I made it too spicy, had to tone it down!) and a slice of skillet cornbread. My stomach started hurting again but I didn't pay much attention to it, and ate another half slice of cornbread. Only the half slice, because the stomach pain demanded I pay attention. It's been about two hours since I ate and it still hurts like I've been punched.
Could my stomach really be shrinking that much?

I would think this early out the popcorn and cornbread could be your problem but then again I'm with a group that doesn't allow any bread and popcorn is a no no. You might want to give your tiny tummy a chance to heal before the popcorn. The kernal could get into an area of that stoma that isn't totally healed yet? Sounds like you are doing really well over all though!!! Way to go girlfriend.
I know that 1/2 my house is sick with a tummy bug this week (sure am glad in 900 miles away in sunny florida on vaca). I could not take nexium, it made my tummy hurt so bad and feel really full after I ate. I took it for about a week & quit. And never had anymore issues.
