Hi, Rosie.
Yes, it was on for 2 hours. The African American gal, Nichole, who had returned not too long ago, was up for elimination with Ron. She was voted off. Hope this helps.
Blessings,
Mary

Yup, it was on.  They brought back 3 previous players that had already gone home (can't remember names) but only 1 got to stay.  And that was Karla (I think her name was).  She was the African American lady that was on with her fiance.  And she had lost 89 pounds on her own.  She looked amazing.

Long story short, she gained at the very next weigh-in and was in the bottom two along with the Dad from the brown team.  She got voted off so her return didn't last very long!

Here is a Lengthy recap.  I get e-mails from Jillian Michaels somehow I went to a website or something.

The Biggest Loser Recap: Welcome Back?
You never know what will happen from week to week at the Ranch — the game keeps the contestants on their toes and at no time do they have a chance to get comfortable. This week was full of surprises: A daughter was born, old friends returned, we had a medical emergency, and of course there was a shocking weigh-in. Here's the account of what went down.

Surprise! Alison Sweeney had her baby girl, so the other Ali, Season 5 winner Ali Vincent, was on-hand to greet the contestants in her place. She let the players know that someone would be joining them in the competition this week, as some of the kicked-off players would be getting a second chance. The players who were sent home for 30 days at the beginning of the season, and then had to stay home because their partners were kicked off the Ranch during that period, would be coming back to weigh in. So Estella, David, and Nicole got on the scale to see which one of them had earned the right to stay by losing the highest percentage of weight. Estella lost 45 pounds, or 18.6 percent, while David lost 46 pounds, for just 11.7 percent. Nicole blew them both away by losing 87 pounds! She was definitely doing her work at home. In fact, she had the second highest percentage of weight loss of anybody there — 32.34 percent — putting her right behind Tara. Nicole was promised immunity for her first week, and she now posed a huge threat to everyone. Each of the contestants gave her their own advice on how to play "the game" now that she was back.

Medical Drama: We had a big scare this week, when Ron, who was walking a mile outside, developed some major chest pains and became light-headed and dizzy. He went to see Sandy, the medic on staff, who sent him to the hospital. Dr. Huizenga checked Ron and ruled out a heart attack, but he did find that Ron had lost blood. Dr. H and his team weren't sure where Ron was bleeding, but they needed to figure it out fast. Ron underwent a double-balloon enteroscopy, and the doctors determined he had a bleeding ulcer in the part of his stomach that he doesn't use anymore because of gastric bypass surgery he had over a decade ago. Dr. H put Ron on medication for the recurrent ulcer and gave him the go-ahead to return to the Ranch.

Finding Balance: It turned out to be quite the star-studded week on the Ranch when Michelle Aguilar, the Season 6 winner, showed up too! She filled in for Alison Sweeney by presenting this week's challenge to the contestants. Each player would stand on his or her own platform suspended six feet above a pool, holding on with one arm to a rope dangling overhead for balance. One by one, the 40 ropes holding up each platform would be cut, so keeping their balance and staying on the platform quickly became tough. After several people fell into the water and out of the competition, it came down to Kristin and Sione. After an hour and with only 9 ropes holding their platforms up, Kristin finally lost her balance and Sione took the prize: a 1-pound advantage at the weigh-in.

That Pesky Scale: For the last-chance workout, Bob took his team outside to the beach and I kept mine in the gym. When it was time to face off, Ali Sweeney was back and there to lead the weigh-in. Nicole, who'd trained with Bob, was first to weigh in, and Ali pulled a little switcheroo on her when she explained that Nicole could keep her immunity only if she didn't gain weight. Unbelievably, she did gain — 5 pounds in fact. Some week she had! Laura also gained a pound, and Ron gained 3. For some good news, Tara lost 6 pounds and became the second woman in Biggest Loser history to break the 100-pound mark. Ron and Nicole both fell below the line, and in the elimination room, there were mixed emotions as the players had to decide whether it was time for Ron to go home or or whether it should be Nicole, who'd proven she could lose the weight on her own. In the end, they sent Nicole home.

Back in Brooklyn, Nicole is still getting ready for her wedding. She's lost 105 pounds since starting at the Ranch, and she's now in a size 12 wedding dress (she'd been in a size 24 when she started!). Her goal is be married in a size 8.

Next Week: Something crazy happens in our gym...trays are left scattered everywhere after a food temptation goes awry. You have to see what makes me so furious with the contestants. Tune in to NBC at 8 p.m. next Tuesday to find out...
