Since I was SO not listening to Dr. Walton when he explained this test to me I am semi freaking out. Thursday I have a hyrdoscan I think or hindascan something like that. Does anyone know what the heck that is? This doesn't hurt right, I am not doing anything that is going to hurt me anymore than what I am in now.

It is a HIDA scan.  It checks to see if your gallbladder is working and if so how efficiently.  My son had one recently.  They will start an IV and then give you a medicine through the IV that will make the gallbladder contract all while watching it on a monitor (not sure if it is ultrasound or how they monitor it.)  I did not go with my son for this test so I am a little vague on all the details.  From what I heard from the kid the IV is the worst part of the test.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Steph:

It is the 2nd part of testing the Gall bladder - I luckily didn't have to have one - but it basically gives the docs a "for real" understanding if it functions right.  Lynette has had one and she warned me about it - she said when the GB starts contracting there is pain....I am so glad Dr W didn't make me do that!   Like I wasn't already in enough pain!!

Anyway...  when, where, yada yada... When do you start at Sprint btw???  Let me know - we like watching them march the newbies through the call center.  Keeps our Monday's entertaining!!
(roflmao!)

Hang in there chick!  You know how to reach me...
