something weird happened at docs office
i had to go see Dr. Keith today cause my stitches had not been removed...while sitting in the waiting area this woman comes up to me and says YOU ARE THE PERSON I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO TALK TO!
Everyone in the room was looking at us and I was like who what where is this person....After a few minutes I realized she had met me at a support group and was wanting help. Well I sit there answering questions for her thinking the whole time...did she have these written down just hoping to see me.
On one hand it was flattering on the other it was like why me....
I guess what really got me was I was talking to this young 24 year old guy that I had mentored as a pre op and she just barged in...
I still dont know how his surgery went....

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
You evidently left an impact of the person! Thats nice that you talked with her.
Isn't it nice how we can be helpful to people because of what we have been through.
I'm happy to talk to anyone about my experience so far. Although its nothing compared to the surgeries you have been through. You are a walking bundle of information!!! I wouldn't mind sitting and talking with you about all of your experience! It sounds far from boring! LOL!
Hugs

tyvm! I have a lot of funnies that I could tell....from baring it all to grabbing the anesthesiologist butts to making the OR nurses sang to me and having the recovery nurses look at my ID band when they ask my name...funny they never ask me anymore...
I think the wildest thing I did was when the nurse informed me she was removing my catheter..she had to leave to go get a 10cc syringe and by the time she came back..I handed her my catheter she asked how did I do it...I lol handed her the 10 syringe that was Left in my room and told her its not rocket science to remove it....
