Walking
Carry a bottle with you everywhere till it becomes automatic to have the water and never go very long without a sip. It does get much easier to get in further out. Walmart has a bunch of store brand crystal light type mixes to if you are on a budget. (I always am on one)
You are doing great on the walking. I know how two blocks can seem as far as 2 miles, but hey in a week you have doubled your distamnce and you have the determination to keep at it. I am proud of you.

You are doing wonderful! 2 blocks is a huge accomplishment! I have to really work on my liquids every day. I just am not as thirsty as I was before the surgery. My diabetes kept me constantly dry. It is totally changed now so it's a daily battle that I know I have to win each day...
You should be so proud of what you are doing already Emily! I think it's a huge WOW moment!

Big hugs to you - I'm proud of you! Even more more step than you're used to is a great accomplishment! Sometimes it seems like the more energy I expend, the more energy I get back. It's fabulous!
I'm almost 10 months out and still struggle every day with the liquids. Pre-op, I had no problems drinking it all but now, not so much. But I fight the good fight every day because our bodies can do without food much more easily than the liquids!
