Thanks for the info.  I just read on one of the other post that Decaf Tea may not been a good idea.  Any suggestions?
You'll are great I appreciate all of your help.

I drink decaf coffee and decaf tee and count it as water.  WeightWise does allow that as water.  What did the post say about decaf tea?

The post said that decaf tea and coffee slows the absorpation of iron and calcium by giving off tannic acid.  That was why I was asking.

Sheesh.....some people overthink things!  That sounds like a steaming pile to me but I'm not giving up something as simple as decaf tea and coffee!  I already gave up donuts!!  What else do the diet gods want from me???

Cottage Cheese is a good choice for you. Yes, food does hurt at times. I find that that is the full point for me and often comes way to soon!  There are days that I barely get in 30 grams of protein so that is when I drink a protein drink or put it in jello. I know that my body needs more than that to feel right. It is getting easier but if I just stayed on the easy to eat stuff, my body would never adjust to the real foods. I do alot of dark meat chicken, fish and cheese. The white meat seems a little to dry but I do try it off and on to see if it is better. This morning I had a string cheese and a small beef jerky for breakfast...not the average breakfast but it works. I know that. I will talk to Chris about all of it next week and see what she has to say about it.

Emily I am glad that uyou found something that you can tolerate and you are getting your protien in. My doctor is different than WW and actually encourages us to do protien drinks after surgery and beyond to make sur eyou get it though he does want you to get as much as possible from real food.

I started using it way before I had surgery..mainly cause of the price. Did not see any reason to pay 40.00 for a tub from OWLO or gnc when BF is just as good.
I use the vanilla so I cna add different flavors and it mixes great with pudding for pies.
I am so glad you found something that works

Is there only one Body Fortress at Walmart?  The one I saw is like 52g of protein.  Is that the one?  Was wondering if that would be too much or not.  Michael
