I had to go see Dr. Keith today for my two week checkup...OMG he was packed and running late so I being the patient person I am asked the receptionist to let anyone that had an appointment after me to go ahead if they lived over a 100 miles away....crazy wasn't I....?
But it was worth the wait...My incision is looking great! My nasty smelly drain tubes were removed with for the first time alot of pain....but the best part was I lost 10 pounds in 8 days...not sure how I did it but there it was so I am happy as can be....and I got a hug and kiss from Dr. Keith....

I just cant see having someone wait long when they have a long drive ahead of them...plus she had surgery when I did so i know she wasnt in a good mood to be in a car for 240 miles going home

Wow! 10 lbs. in 8 days! That's awesome! I'm sure you're happy to be without the drains. Yuck. God will bless you, too, for allowing others to go before you. Thanks for the update. I know you'll continue to be careful.
Blessings,
Mary

Awesome Pattye.... Did you go on Wednesday or Thursday.  I had my nutrition appt Wednesday and I couldn't believe how packed the reception area was.  I was looking for a seat when she called my name and I wasn't sure it was my name as the room was so full.  I' so happy for your and wished I had a small amount of your patients...
