You talking about actual running???  A 5K is easy for me if I walk it.  I'm up for getting a group together to do this.  I think it would be a blast!

GlitterGal,,,,walking would be great.  I actually work part-time for a timing company and we will be timing the Redbud.  There will be alot of walkers there.  Give it a try and I might be one of the backup timers in a chair at the finish line, wave HI.

Well, I haven't worked up to actually running all of the 5K, but I think I can run for a good portion of it.. It's definitely taking a lot of my focus to work on that right now.  I think it would be fun.  They have a 10K for the more advanced, and a 2 Mile walk as well.   http://www.redbud.org/home/.

I went online to see previous year's results - and I can finish 5K faster than some, so now I'm less intimidated.  I may have to wear my UnderArmour no matter what the weather - just to keep the jiggling to a minimum.

<--- That's what it looks like if I run w/o my compression clothes.

Ok, now that's interesting.  I wondered how I would ever try to run without all my jiggly bits hurting me.  Is that what UnderArmour is for?  I guess you buy it tight so it holds everything firmly?  I thought UnderArmour was for temperature control!  My middle roll is finally getting very jiggly.  I take this as a good sign, actually.  It had been pretty firm this whole time but I knew it was just a matter of time.  Keep in mind, I never had babies so that made a difference.  So now I got a whole new jiggly area to contend with.  I've got three fat huggers on order right now!!!  (got a big in-law family event coming in April)  I gotta figure out this UnderArmour thing.  Maybe it could be my friend..........!

I have actually been curious as to whether I could run or not.  I know it would be very short bursts but I've been thinking about it.  I guess it's better to at least think about it positively than to be scared of it!

That's what it does for me, anyhow.  I find the size that fits comfortably and then buy one size smaller and pack myself into it.  You have to be careful - the white ones are pretty sheer when stretched that far - so (at least for me) not a pretty sight...  But the black ones still cover pretty well.  As for the temperature - it's not been warm enough yet that I couldn't use an extra layer.. we'll see when it actually gets to be summer if I still feel the same way.

It makes a lot of difference to me when jogging - without it, I do get sore, and there's this flapping noise all around my waist.

Let's do it!  Either the Redbud or the other one or both!  Let's talk tonight.  I'll try to get there early so we can chat.  Maybe we can get a whole WeightWise group and do it together!

MAKE SURE TO GET SOMETHING THAT WILL HOLD "THE GIRLS" NICE AND TIGHT CAUSE THAT IS WHAT GIVES ME PROBLEMS WHEN WE RUN AT BOOT CAMP. THEY USED TO A LITTLE BIT FIRMER BUT NOW THEY LIKE TO CHECK OUT THE FLOOR A LOT MORE AND WHEN I RUN THEY ARE GOING "WHAT THE HELL?" SO GOOD LUCK!
