This time last year I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my grandson(my 16 yr old daughter's baby....ya stress!!). And I was in the 11th month of missing my hubby who was in Iraq.
Having surgery was in the back of my mind, but not yet a priority as I knew My Hubby was not onboard yet. I was also wishing I could hold up that Harley all by myself so I could ride an enjoy spring!

Sadly a year from right now I will be missing my Hubby who will be in either Iraq (for the 4th time) or Afgh..... Seems to be a pattern!!

I am sorry that you hubby will not be here with you next year but I do thank god for men and women like him who put their life on hold as well as on the line for all of us. I have 3 nephews in the military, one deploys to Iraq in a few day, the other 2 just came back in recent months and we lost a cousin in 2004 in Afghanastan.

Last year at this time I was doing Weigh****chers and doing good but little did I know I would gain 20 of the 40 I lost again and fall back into the same old trap.  My niece was looking forward to her lapband surgery in June (yea I was jealous, I had tried a year ago for surgery and my insurance denied me).  Little did I know that my insurance had change their qualifications and a year later I would be preparing for lapband on April 7th.

life is so grand a year later! just thing next year you gonna be just a shining in the new you!

This time last year I had just suffered a bad break up with a very serious boyfriend and I had decided to stop living my life to try to please someone who didn't make me his priority and I decided the first thing I could take control of was my own health, I was excited about changing my life and my outlook. Little did I know that I'd be facing a year long wait to get the surgery that would help me achieve my goals....but alas I made it, and now there are just 3 days 12 hours 15 mins and 51...no 46 seconds left!!
