Not feeling good.
Please do not wait to contact the doctor. Even if they don't think it is anything, it is better that you call! Since you are in the beginning of your journey, one thing may appear as something insignificant and can actually be an issue for a bariatric patient. We are still learning our bodies and how they are addressing our surgery. What WAS before is no longer...
Listen to your body closely!! Please go ahead and make the call. It will be alright - you are not bothering anyone!

THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.

I don't know what you are drinking, but I've found I drink more and am happier about it if I make the crystal light stuff or splenda koolaid stuff at about half strength. I like a a little flavor, but this way there is not that icky aftertaste.
Ruth is right, nausea can be caused by dehydration, so don't give up drinking. Sometimes, when I've been really sick with the flu or something, I'll get a dixie cup or a shot glass and pour a "shot" every few minutes and drink it that way-it's less overwhelming than trying to drink down a huge glass of something. (but I'm easily amused too).
I know your having it rough right now and I can't say that I know how you feel becuase I won't be there till after next week, but I just wanted to tell you that Your doing awesome! 40lbs down already! and your only 3 weeks out!? I'm sorry that your finding it rough to drink but just think of every sip as getting you that much closer to goal! Congrats on your success thus far and Keep up the good work!
I don't seem to have any problem drinking at all as far as it taking long. I can drink pretty normal and have been able to since the beginning, it is just making myself do it! Time helps with it all, we just have to make a habit of it now...
I do hope you are doing better in a few days...
Hang in there!

I find that hot liquids are much, much easier for me to get down so I drink a lot of decaf coffee. This may not work for you so just keep trying to find what works for you.
Eventually you will be able to "gulp" more than you can now and that makes it a lot easier.
Just hang in there and please, please do not get dehydrated. I did that once and it cost me a trip to WW for the joy juice via a needle. Not a fun way to spend a Saturday evening! So sippy, sippy and smile, smile!
