hello hero of mine!
I thank you for this post must admit I skipped and scanned and will reread it again when my eyes are not clouded my pain meds.
I have lost my boobs and sorry to say I was kinda happy about it so for her to fuss is silly. I would rather lose them then lose my life anad apparently her ex hubby had issues with her long before the marriage ended.
Some people who lose weight forget where they come from and what it is like to ba  fat person in a skinny world
I brought back my niece from NC who is super morbid obese. She has finally admitted to me that she weighs over 320 pounds at being 5'9. Her lifetyle  before coming here was no nutritional food and high carbs, sodas and all kinds of fattening food. In the last 2 weeks she has gone from soda to water and is still eatting ice cream..as long as it is not brought in my house I can not say to much. I noticed I was becoming a fat snob...I was shocked!!! For me to be that just did not make sense. So I have curbed my attitude and now am being more supportive and understanding.
maybe I needed here to come here and let me realize I have become that person I use to run from.
Anywho thank you for the post...... I am bookmarking this for future reference.
BTW I am not allowed to do the diet you gave me for another few weeks then I am hitting it hard and will let you know when I start..HUGSSSSSSSSSS
And please let me know when you come to OKIE
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

Thomas, I know the basics of the low carb life.  How low do you keep your carbs?  Do you stay below 20 each day?  I am guilty of carb creep.  I am maintaining but need to get another 15 or 20lbs off.

Denise

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

T,

The great and mighty pirate will never rest.  You really know the words man.  I started my new life on 1/23/09 and haven't looked back.  I never knew I could have more fun with my wife and kids.  I never knew that I was such a lazy person.  I can't wait to get out and do something now.  Being seditary is what got me to my misery and I won't stop and go back to that lifestyle again.  Good Words.
