Candee,

I'm sure that opinions vary, but I and a few others like Jeremy lost a ton of weight quickly not by watching the caloric intake, but by limiting the amount of carbs that we take in.  It's not hard and you have really rewarding results in a short amount of time.  Jeremy is only 6 weeks out and lost 77 pounds....  I lost my 150 pounds in just over two months....  lots of excercise.....  and watched every carb....

No I can eat a wide variety of things and I can weigh myself daily and not gain a pound.  I can also go back to watching those carbs and making sure I don't eat any and lose even more (but I choose to not lose but gain about a pound every two weeks so I can look not so skinny.)

So if you want an option, try not to care about your caloric intake and look to every carb you choose to eat as the key to losing what you need.  You'll find that those "stubborn" pockets of fat will even go away after a few weeks....places are flat that you never thought possible

I asked Jess about this at my last appointment and she told me there was no need to count calories. She said to just keep following the rules of protein first and limiting carbs. That way your body will get what it needs and you will continue to lose.

Well, you already know that WW doesn't have us track calories but it only makes sense that calories in vs. calories burned is critical.  So I'll tell you that when I do track, I get about 800 calories a day.  I honestly believe I could take in more than that but when I do my protein first, there really isn't room.  For a female, I would think anything 1,200 calories or less would be good.
