I learned a secret ....
I found a secret. As many of you know, I reached my goal weight early...like in 3 months...more than 150 pounds off in 2 months...
I don’t know if this works for everyone, and I took this on my own accord…. I’ve stopped my workout a month or so back so that I could try to get myself out of ketosis (fat burning mode)….but I found out a few things…. I found myself to be getting a bit restless at night since I wasn’t getting all of my energy out from my daily workout and stuff, but I stayed on the same portions of food, vitamins…etc…
Well one of those vitamins that I take is b-12, sublingual (I also get a shot every week from a local doctor who knows all of my details)…..well that stacks up to be a lot of b-12 but not a lot of outlet to get the excess energy out….
Well to make a long story short…. Cutting back on the b-12 caused me to drop out of ketosis. If I take the normal amount, then ketosis stays at bay if I have something that contains a bit of starch or sugar. (Some of you ask why I took so much, but it was due to the high amounts of water I drink daily mixed with a ton of physical work). So if some of you are struggling with getting into ketosis, or just trying to stay in that “fat burning mode"…then you can up your dosage of b-12 if your doctor doesn’t have a problem with it. I also take double dosage for my regular vitamins since I don’t get all of the effect from the surgery. Only seen benefits, no regrets…
So this process might work in reverse...I don't know...and I can't make promises since I'm the only test monkey.... of course I use other methods to hit ketosis in short times and have maint. methods that aren't common...so who knows about the differences... after all, I drink during every meal and for most of you that's a big no-no....lol... not like I haven't been known to break rules... overall, i do follow most of the rules...there are those days that each of us tend to buck the "establishment".
As always I’ve become sharp as to what will or won’t put a person into that fat burning mode and I’m always willing to help anyone and give them my results with the knowledge that they aren’t me and to do their own check-up with whomever they wish…. It’s your body, your fight, you goals…I’m just here to help you swing the sword and to be an ear when you need one…

This is interesting. I don't know if a higher dosage of B-12 affects ketosis or not, but I just want to caution against an "overdose" of B-12.
Vitamin B is water soluble, so more of it is just released through one's urine. Vitamin B-12, however, is stored in the liver, so an overdose would probably cause other issues. I don't know what would constitute an "overdose," though. It would be something to discuss with one's doctor, for sure.
Good luck in your endeavor to leave ketosis. You look great in your new avatar photo. :)
