Complicatiions...back in hospital

I got to go home yesterday.  As the day progressed I started to get weak.  I kept falling down.  Turns out I had a leak.  It solved itself but I was bleeding internally for quite a while.  Drs. Walton and Broussard jumped in to action and opened me up to help fix the issue.  I'm still downstairs at Weightwise in room 1.

I'm still weak from blood loss but I should be okay.

Big thanks to my man Jeremy for his visit on Monday.  I was groggy but it was appreciated none-the-less.

This can happen so all you pre-op folks please don't be afraid.  These supreme docs at WW found it and fixed it...'nuff said.

Glad they found it quickly Winnie.  Hope you recover very quickly!

I am sorry to hear about the leak, but glad the dynamic duo got you all fixed up. How long will you have to stay in the hospital? If you are still there tomorrow night we can come by and harass you after group.

So sorry to hear about your complication, but I'm glad to see you're still hanging on to your positive attitude.  You're right - the docs are great at WW.  I'm sure they'll have you off and moving on down the bench soon.

Winne~ I am so sorry to hear of your leak, but glad to know you are carrying a positive attitude through it all.  I am the same way you are... I had complications, but I always knew my surgeon could get me through them all.  I hope you heal quickly and are able to go home.  *hugs*

You are so right Win, they tell us that things can happen and though rarely...they still do. They test for leaks during the surgeries, but things can still happen. I am so glad they found the problem and got it taken care of quickly. You really were and are in good hands with these two doctors.
I hope you get your strength back soon and are feeling like your new self again!
