Question for Dr. Gorospe patients

Just wondering how long it took from your intake appointment until the case worker got your file?
It has been almost 3 weeks since my appointment and they have not even filed my insurance yet. 
Is this normal? Am I just being impatient?  Thanks!

I had my intake on Jan 23rd and I had to have my psych eval and my sleep study done plus my 5 year medical insurance before they would submit to insurance. My psych eval was done jan 26th and my sleep study was done feb 10th, Jinny got my sleep study results and filled my paperwork to my insurance on the 12th of feb. I got approved last monday and was called with a surg date and a bunch of pre op test that same day. I would e-mail jinny if she is your case worker, she always e-mailed me right back within a few hours. E-mailing her was alot quicker than calling because it took days for a return phone call.

No, They are very slow.  I think it took about 3 weeks before the insurance lady had my file.
Then they sent me a letter saying that they could not help me.  Since I live in OKC.  I decided to go with another surgeon.  Hope things speed up with you.
