Major Regrets

I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling so bad.  I wish you had called Dr. B earlier but at least you have now.  You did have a leak test before you left the hospital and that is the extent of my knowledge.  It sounds to me more like your blood levels are off.  I know that low iron levels can zap your energy and make you feel cold all the time.

But enough guessing on my part, I'm glad you're going to the doctor.  Hang in there until then.

Worst of all is that you're feeling regrets.  That stinks!  When you feel better, you will be a happy tiny tummy owner too!

Oh wow Amber, I hate to hear that you are weak not feeling well....I have been concerned about you and wondered where you were..well, I guess I know. I pray that the docs can find the source of your weakness and get you back on your feet....and u will get back on your feet. Keep encouraged and keep that joy you have, cuz remember, that joy is your strength in the Lord. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and let us know how the doc visit went. Hugz, and more hugz

I'm so sorry you are feeling poorly.  Yes, you can have a leak that far out.  Mine did not surface completely until about 2 months after and the second leak came about 4 months.  You also might be severely anemic and that will make you VERY tired and weak.  I ended up with about 3 or 4 transfusions (2 to 3 units each time) during my leak and multiple infections and believe me, you will feel so much better once they figure out what's wrong.  I know people freak out if they have to have a blood transfusion, but I've personally had about 30 or so since I had cancer 3 years ago and my son has had 3 units every 3 weeks since 1995 and it is safe.

Even if you do have a leak, you will feel better if they can start you on TPN (liquid nutrition that is given through a PICC line).  I went 8 1/2 weeks the first time without eating and drinking and 1 1/2 weeks the second time and I honestly felt better with the TPN because I was getting nutrition without the nausea and vomiting.  Good luck and be aggressive with it.  If you want or need additional information, please PM me and I will be happy to talk to you further.  I'm in California the rest of this week so I'm a little slow in checking emails, but I will be glad to help you out any way I can.
