3 Week Stall....

I stalled too, actually about 3 weeks then again about 7 weeks, its frustrating but take it in stride and work through it.

I feel like my body is hanging on to the fat for dear life sometimes.

My Dr G found my spleen bleeding also, he said he didn't remember knicking it but he found it when looking around before closing.  Things like that happens and I haven't had any problems with mine.  Personally I always have weird things happen so I just took it in stride and took it as normal for me.

Best of luck with the job hunt.

I was the early on stall queen!  I stalled on the liquid phase!  I was stalled for 28 days.  You can tell from my ticker that it was temporary (even if I was totally psycho before it ended!)  At this point your poor body is in total shock.  It is convinced that you are going through a horrible famine and is holding on to all resources in case the famine gets worse.  That is how mankind survived for the ages.  You WILL lose weight- promise.  It will just happen on your body's schedule and not on yours.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Hey I had surgery a long time ago and I won't bore you with the details but they accidentally punched a hole in my bladder.  (they had to scrape my bladder)  I only tell you this because stuff happens no matter who the surgeon.  No biggie and it healed up fine.

I promise that once the scales start moving again, suddenly your disposition will be sunny again.

Also, you'll need to post photos along the way so we can tell you how fabulous you are looking cuz, fer sure, an 18 year old boy ain't gonna be the one!!!

Thank you all for your wonderful words and kindness. I worry so much about this, I researched it for about 5 years before I actually decided to do it, and once I made that decision, there was no turning back.  I am still glad I did it, but once the scale stopped moving, I got a little scared. I have literally bugged the crap out of Heather, Dr. G's clinical assistant so much that I felt a little silly calling about that, too. I am glad it will pass, and that I am normal.  Geez, that sounds strange.  I guess I will need to learn to stop being a scale addict and get over myself.

HAVE YOU STARTED TAKING MEASUREMENTS? IF NOT I RECCOMMEND DOING THAT. EVEN IF THE SCALES ARE NOT MOVING YOU WILL STILL SEE RESULTS FROM LOSING INCHES AND THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL A LOT BETTER ABOUT IT.I KNOW NOTHING COMPARES TO THE NUMBERS ON THE SCALE BUT THE NUMBER ON YOUR MEASURING TAPE GETTING SMALLER HELPS TOO.
