Ok, I am gonig to vent here. I got dumped by my boyfriend of a year and a half in December with no explaination. I have had food struggles that I have really had to fight the last week, I am trying to find an apratment to move to and last night I had to put down my cat of 19 years. I swear guys, I am on the edge. I know I am. I am so stressed out that I don't even know know what to do anymore.

I have been doing better food wise the last few days. I know my old coping mechanisms of oreo's and pizza can't be my friends anymore, and I am working on new healthy ones. I am walking up to 2 miles a night now, so that helps.

But there just comes a time when you just want to scream, enough is enough!

AARRRGGG...I just needed to vent, thank you for listening.

Jennifer, the first bumps I had in the road after surgery seemed almost insurmountable-until I realized it was the food fix I was missing.  And, over a year and half out, I can honestly say that when I feel overwhelmed by something that usually doesn't make me feel that way, it all goes back to not being able to eat about it.

You are so on the right track to find new coping mechanisms.  Get that apartment and then rescue a kitten.  (Hmmm, I've rescued three dogs since surgery.....there might be a pattern there.)

I actually adopted a kitty about 5 months ago, a little boy named Woodrow who is absolute hell on wheels but I still adore him. Thanks for letting me vent :)

Jenn,

HUGS what you are going through is hard but you are a strong woman who can do this and we are always her eto listen to you vent. I like Debs ideal of rescuing a new kitten when you get settled then I am a crazy animal lady myself.

Hmmmm....!  You see this as frustration and I see this as a way to fix you up with my nephew!  How old are you?  He's 24.

Kim,

You gave me the biggest laugh I have had in a while. Thank you. I think I am a little too old for your nephew I am 36, but thanks for the thought!

Well, dang it!  You sure don't look 36.  Well, at least I was able to provide some comic relief!

WE all go through those type of set backs. Just come here and vent all you want! I think it is good therapy for the soul!

My prayers are with you lady! Let me know if you need anything, I know it can be tough to get through those crazy rough patches that seem to snowball on top of one another.

Hang in there!

Thanks for the words of encouragement.. This board really means a lot to me. I would have pulled my hair out by now if it wasn't for all of you wonderful people!

Just vent away.  That's what we are here for.  Venting in this way keeps us out of the kitchen where we use to "eat our sorrows" and not vent!!  Your boyfriend leaving was a biggie I'm sure but at least you weren't married.  I can only hope that he gets to get a good look at you in about 6 months when you are "smoking hot"!  You are already a beautiful girl and just think...you can look at him and say "in your face" looser!!!  You deserve so much more and I don't even know him but if he dumped you then he's surely got a problem.  I would NEVER have EVER guessed your age to be 36!!!  You look like you're 21...maybe!!!  Just keep doing what you know to do, walk and get on her and vent away!!!  Thin will feel so much better than any oreos or other food EVER tasted!!!  (((hugs)))

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
