I met more forum members today!!! So excited!
Yes, it's true.....vacationers from the land of "Arizona".... some of my people from the recipe forum headed to St Thomas today, so i got to stop in and see them! It was a great time. they took me to a local bar and bought me a beer and swapped war stories about food and where we are in our journey. they had the best things to say that made me feel awesome....so my ego was well fed today....even if my belly wasn't...lol...
There was just one lady that reads my stuff in the recipe foum (and she actually cooks it!)....who brought a bunch of other girls so I got to meet everyone and snap some pictures with them.... i was told if I could just fit in the small suitcase that I'd have the time of my life with them...but honestly....i may not have survived all of them! Taking pictures with them was fun.....I'm still not so sure who grabbed my bunskis....but someone did a few times....
Luckily I get a few ohers here next month...including one from OKC....fun for a whole week!
Needless to say....I had a great time and it was fun to be able to meet some of the people who wanted to meet me just for the sake of eating food with one another and enjoying some time and laughter with another person going through the struggle and the journey......
Life is good.... I'm really blessed to have such terrific people around me!
