I am being well blunt as usual
I have something to say and I am going to say it....as politely as I can...but with my usual bluntness.
I come here to OH and some other sites to offer support and to get it. NOT to read on the forum about items someone wants to sell. I know there are alot of places online that offer free advertsing to sell products and there are sites that you can consign items. So why not go there and sell the stuff you have. Leave the OH FORUMS for SUPPORT not selling!

Okay, about your topic. If it's WLS- or exercise-related, it doesn't bother me. In fact, I was thrilled to find a treadmill right here on OH.com. I prefer buying such things from someone I know than from a stranger. Plus, I look at those posts just as I do any other post--if it looks like something I want to read, then I read it. If it doesn't, I just move on.

mary I have had the worse 24 hours I have ever had. The "alien baby" ie hernia is hurting BIG time. I couldnt find a way to lay down without it hurting....when I did my slim fast this morning it made me feel like I was about to burst so apparently its starting to stranglate me... I have not tried to "eat" anything today doing liquids....

Bless your heart. I know you'll be glad to get that taken care of. Did you call the surgeon, to see if your surgery can be earlier than scheduled? I'm concerned about you.

Mary, I know the Friday is just two days away and I will just deal with the pain till then. knowing how busy he is I doubt that he can put me on the scehdule earlier than Friday. Drinking protein shakes for a few days is not going to kill me just make me lose weight..no problem with that

It doesn't bother me as long as they post it i the title....OT-Selling a Widget. If I'm looking for a widget, I'd rather buy from a forum buddy than a total stranger.
Part of the supportive nature of the forum is that you DO get to know each other, and sometimes off topic things come up-I know I talk an awful lot about my pets, but I try to make sure the title relates to the subject so if no one is interested they can just skip it.
Deb, I have never read a post of yours that did not give some kind of support. Your pets are supportive and give alot of emotional support.
I dont mind folks selling stuff if its wls related like a exercise equipment....But non WLS should not be on wls forums...
