A few days ago I hit my 3 month mark with my new tummy....  I am very thankful for losing 47 lbs.  I would still like to lose about another 20lbs.  I sure have noticed lately that I find my self thinking about all the foods we should not have...  I even have been having a little sugar here and there.  I got to quit this immediately and get back to my protein.  I logged my food on Fit Day and was shocked that I was only averaging 30 -40 grams of protein a day.  I definitely need to get more protein in.
Dr. B was very happy with my results but wanted to see me get exercise in.  I am happy Spring is around the corner so I can walk outside.  I also wish I lived in the City so I could attend support group every week.  so far, I have been able to get one in a month and that has really helped.  Feb. is the first month I have not been able to go and look at all these CRAVINGS....Yikes!  I will definitely be to one in March!!!!
I do not post much but I do try to read the boards often.  Everyone is such an inspiration to me and I just want to say thank you.  This is such an amazing close group..

love

Hi Candee glad to see you around and congrats on your lose. As for the cravings I think that maybe a 3 month thing. I am actually getting a hungry feeling that is not head hunger now and yes the carb craving ha**** big time.

Hi, Candee.
We are sisters, in several ways. :)  I, too, have released 47 lbs., although I'm so much heavier, it should be more. I, too, am nearly 3 1/2 months out, and the hunger seems to have returned, at least sporadically. I experienced a few cravings last week, but, thankfully, I didn't have anything in the house (other than what I should have). :)
Do get to a support group (pick mine! pick mine!) in March. It will encourage you. Logging your food is so important. You'll be out walking in no time, and that will help, too. Hang in there. You're doing great.
Blessings,
Mary

Candee you will soon be changing your screen name to "iamslimntrim"!!!!  Woo-hoo!!!  You are doing awesome!  Congratulations.  I understand about the cravings and even though we have had surgery we still have part of the food battle that stays with us only now we are empowered to win.

if only dr b could've removed our cravings right along with our stomachs huh? i hear you on that subject!! on the other hand congratulations on losing 47lbs!! that's awesome!! get out there and exercise! it will make a world of difference in how you feel and losing weight. if you don't have a place to go when it is cold outside try doing some floor exercises at home. anything that keeps you active. or go walk in a mall or walmart. i see people doing that all the time!!
