Surgery number 10 scheduled

March 6, 2009 is when my next hernia repair surgery will be. Dr. Keith took one look at my soccor size hernia and said lets schedule you for surgery....I started to cry and this big time surgeon hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said he would take care of me.
So folks Starting friday till probably Tuesday I wont be online....
I wonder if number 10 is when I get a room named after me?

My wife had an umbilical hernia the size of a softball.  She was SOO miserable!!  She completely understands just how you feel.  It does get better and you've got a great doc to help get you there!

Don't worry about us!!  Just go get fixed up and come back to us all better!!

Winniw thank you! This is my third hernia...and its at the same spot as the other two...Only difference is this one is growing faster than the other two....

Let me know when and I will try very hard to get down and check on you if its not after school end time (dang it). dr. Keith will do everything he can to get you where you need to be and think of it like this you will be all fixed when you move back to NC.

Hey we cold call your room the P.S. room. LOL in honor of you and the fact you have been there for PS surgeries so many times now.

if you could have seen his face yesterday....I never saw him look like that before. And then he hugged me and gave me a kiss....hes hugged me before but never kissed me...lol so now I can honestly say I got kissed before i got cut...
He said he would take care of me....I think its cause I promised to make him alot of fudge at Christmas....
All i know is I will be called Thursday afternoon for my time....THANK GOD MY NIECE came back with me! She told me she would go with me and stay at the hospital.....

Ten surgeries! Makes me cringe just thinking about it. I know you'll be fine, and you'll feel so much better to have that repair done. I'll be praying that "the 3rd time's the charm," and it will stay fixed.

Mary from your lips to GOD'S ears! I am asking everyone to pray that this is the last surgery I will have to have for hernia repairs....
I do not think I can handle another one.....its just to stressful, painful and to be blunt depressing

Be very positive about this surgery, even if it feels fake right now, because it's true what the Bible says, "You shall have whatever you say." Even the psychs and medical community say that your body will follow your thought pattern. Positive affirmations work. So repeat after me, "This hernia repair surgery will go smoothly. The repair will hold. I am healed and painfree." :)
