Thats so awesome!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! So what did they do at your preop?? I have mine on Monday and was just wondering what to expect!!! Thanks in advance!

Anesthesia came in and went over my med list and told me what to take on the morning of surgery. They also went over my ekg with me. Lab came in and drew blood for cross matching and gave me an id bracelet to put on. Another nurse came in and gave me an ispirometer ( breathing device ) to help strengthen the lungs. They went over what to bring, what to expect, where to park, when to check in, and general hospital information. It took about 2 hours total from the time I arrived to the time I left.
