I have gone crazy!!!!! Every since I have decided that I am definitely having wls, I want to eat everything I see. Its like my brain thinks I am never going to be able to eat again and I don't even have a date yet. I better be able to get this surgery soon or they will have to cut a hole in my wall to get me out of the house. LOL!!!

You are not the first one to go crazy.  It's like you are having your "last" supper every time you eat.  You need to use this time to focus and begin by giving up caffeine, focus on drinking a minimum of 64 oz of water and cutting back on the carbs.  It will make it all so much easier after your surgery if you have already developed some habits that need to be made.  You will have already gotten past the caffeine withdrawals and on and on.  Don't be too hard on yourself.  Most of us had to loose a certain amount of weight per-op so it was pretty structured even before surgery.  Maybe once you get your date you will be focused and it will be REAL for you.  (I doubt that they would h ave to cut you out of the house though)  Have a good one and welcome to our boards.  I hope you date is soon!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I am sooooooooooo there with you. I see it I want it, I eat it I feel like crap. On the upside, I seem to be getting full really fast these days, maybe my tummy is prepping itself for the future.. Or I am really a nut job! LOL

I did too.  I thought I would never be able to eat again.  You go a while without some of the things you like but you can eat in moderation.  Your handy dandy pouch will stop you!  you are more limited but you won't feel deprived once you can start on mushies you will think they are the best thing your little tummy ever had!  LOL!  You will do fine!

The thing people forget to mention is that we are often MORE satisfied with our smaller amounts of food than we were prior to WLS.  I know I enjoy my one delicious rib more than I ever enjoyed a plate of them.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone.  It's not that I eat a lot when I eat. I have just been eating more often and things I have normally forbidden myself to eat. Oh well I am getting back on track starting now.  Hey fleemore1, thanks  for the caffeine advise. I defiantly need to start on that. Diet Dr Pepper is my friend. The more I do now the less I will have to do later and I know it is all going to be so worth it!
Thanks for all the support!
